The Law Enforcement Association of Peer Specialists (LEAPS) is committed to creating a unified, supportive community that recognizes the mental health and resiliency of Peer Specialists who are providing support to law enforcement across the country. Through a trusted network, we promote high-quality training, state- and national-level connection opportunities, and a bridge to professional resources. Guided by empathy, trust, and confidentiality, our goal is to empower Peer Specialists to foster wellness, promote early intervention, and strengthen bonds within the law enforcement family. Our vision is to build a resilient, well-trained, and connected community where law enforcement professionals feel safe, supported, and equipped to thrive—reducing stigma and caring for the invisible wounds among protectors.
